My profile is actually listed under my husband's so, it's confusing. It doesn't let you edit your account easily. We both signed up yeeaarrs ago, and the cookies messed up our accounts.

The photo of "Darth" (next post) is actually my daughter, Elizabeth :)

I'll never forget eating popcorn and watching Portland wrestling with you at your house across the street (during our "Empire Strikes Back" days ;). Or the fireworks (jack-something-or-other) that hopped over one house into the woods one 4th of July! Good times.

It is so good to hear from you! Thanks for visiting my blog.

Love,
KathleenKathleen F.http://www.blogger.com/profile/00491490353685078596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20454583.post-61138657663645677072007-05-11T20:37:00.000-07:002007-05-11T20:37:00.000-07:00Hi Kathleen.. There is no one good but God. It's not a pessimistic saying; it is a wonderful realization of His faithfulness to us who love Him.

Thank you for your insightful comments, Corrie! (Hope you are enjoying your new home.)Kathleen F.http://www.blogger.com/profile/00491490353685078596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20454583.post-5672471599278143672007-05-11T07:26:00.000-07:002007-05-11T07:26:00.000-07:00Hi Kathleen,What a great question! Well, behind us was standing Elizabeth Elliot (Gren)! My friend and I turned around and said "Good Morning" to her. She ask used how we were doing. My friend answered and said "Good". Mrs. Gren answered and said "No one is good but One!"

I will never forget that little lesson. Now, of course my friend wasn't talking about her condition as a person but about how she was feeling at that moment.

I, too, had a "checkered" past. I can so identify with Mary Magdalene in the Bible. I know very intimately that those who are forgiven much, love much.

Luke 7:47

"Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."

I am nothing without Christ. Nothing good dwells in me except Him. Anything good that I do is because He has given me that good work to do and He is faithful to complete it.

Your posts really make me think, Kathleen. Thank you!Corriehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13771878099332439981noreply@blogger.com
